Safari Overview
Ndutu is the heart of the Great Wildebeest Calving Season. Each year between December and March, more than 1.5 million wildebeest gather in the fertile Ndutu and Southern Serengeti plains to give birth. Up to 8,000 calves are born daily, attracting large predators — lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, and jackals.
This safari is perfect for photographers and wildlife enthusiasts seeking dramatic predator–prey encounters, newborn calves, and scenic short-grass plains.
Day 1 — Arusha to Ndutu (Southern Serengeti)
Depart from Arusha and drive through Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive in Ndutu for your first game drive where thousands of wildebeest and zebras graze peacefully on the green plains.
