Day Trip Itinerary

Morning: Pick-Up & Drive to Tarangire

Your adventure starts early in the morning with a pick-up from your hotel in Moshi or Arusha. You will drive through beautiful Maasai villages and open landscapes on your way to Tarangire.

Upon arrival at the park gate, your guide will handle registration while you prepare for your safari. Once inside, the game drive begins immediately.

Midday: Game Drive & Picnic Lunch

Enjoy an exciting game drive through the park, where you may see:

• Large herds of elephants (Tarangire is famous for this!)
• Lions resting under trees
• Giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest
• Various bird species

Around lunchtime, you will stop at a scenic picnic site inside the park, where you can relax and enjoy your packed lunch while surrounded by nature.

Afternoon: Continued Game Drive

After lunch, continue exploring different areas of the park. Your guide will take you to the best wildlife viewing spots depending on animal movements.

Visit the Tarangire River, which attracts many animals during the dry season, offering excellent opportunities for photography and close encounters.

Evening: Return to Moshi / Arusha

In the late afternoon, you will exit the park and begin your drive back. You will arrive at your hotel in the evening, ending your unforgettable safari experience.
